Please pray for Church Building and Building Church Ministry

Message from Senior Pastor, Ralph Su….

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. -2 Timothy 1:7

During Mountain View Property Information Session last Sunday, we were informed that after two and half years and two contracts with World Mission Prayer Center, the sale of the Mountain View church properties could not be concluded. Canaan’s Building Committee decided to take legal action to deal with WMPC, requesting that the buildings be vacant for sale. This decision was moved and approved by the Session.  The letter of Unlawful Detainer has been served and accepted by WMPC which may result in legal action.

Through the church building and building church process over the years, we have been praying for this transaction and have experienced God’s love and mercy. We have been reminded that we can only trust His leading not our own ability but God’s grace and power. This is God’s Church and we are His people. Our Heavenly Father has His own plan and right timing for His people.

As we wait for the outcome of this legal action, I would like to invite you to pray even more for God’s mission and coworkers at CTCC. In the midst of challenges and delays, we have experienced God’s presence and will witness God’s provision. Let’s pray for God’s wisdom and power by His Spirit with coworkers and WMPC during this legal process.

It is the grand opportunity for Canaan Family members to become a healthy church through God’s leading and promises. I am looking forward to sharing with you God’s mission and listening to your sharing on God’s love and grace.

  1. I think Canaan has been more than generous to WMPC and I definitely pray that the issue with WMPC will be solved and that legal process will go smoothly for Canaan.
